Introducing new approaches and practices in using technology in higher education for effective learning presents challenges for teachers, students, support staff and the technical and organisational environment. These include differing perspectives of stakeholders, limited time and resources, the need for new skills, and technical constraints. This poster presentation charts the introduction, development and implementation of a new model for intensive curriculum in the Master of International Business. Preliminary findings will show the impact of intensive mode delivery on teaching, unit design and technology choices, and the student experience. Further, we highlight the pedagogical, organisational and technical successes and challenges faced when introducing change to establish a sustainable model for the development and delivery of intensive mode units.
